The 2016 Parkesburg Community Day - Kids' Firefighter Challenge

Thanks to all who braved the sweltering conditions to attend or volunteer at the event yesterday. In addition to the heat, we faced some other obstacles, but overall it seemed to go well. Our fire and EMS crews were very busy with call volumes all-day but we still got it done.
At the community day event, our KVFD firefighters had an opportunity to run our first ever Kids' FF Challenge. Go to our Facebook page to see some great photos by our photographer, Mr. Mark Walsh. It was very popular until the mid-afternoon heat struck!
Look for KVFD along with the Sadsburyville Fire Company at Sadsbury's Community Day this coming Saturday to run the Kids' Challenge v2.
