Yesterday at 5:26 PM, KVFD fire police were dispatched to assist the police with traffic control on Moscow Road at Quarry Road in West Sadsbury Township for a fuel spill.

Multiple fire police units from KVFD along with fire police from the Wagontown Fire Co. responded to assist with traffic. Fire resources were soon added to the incident with a report of wires down and the contents of a trailer being towed by the involved vehicle being overturned and spilling its contents.

Assistant 8, Rescue 8 and Tac 8 responded.

PECO Energy responded for the wires, and Null's Towing for the clean-up.

All units were clear about two hours later. Earlier in the day crews were dispatched to an odor of gas inside the Wawa Market. No source was located.

At 7:00 PM, many of active crew members then proceeded to the Chester County Public Safety Training Campus in South Coatesville in Ladder 8 for live fire training on flammable liquids. Thanks to Instructors Steve Walter, Dave McKinney and Steve Diluigi for providing this course.
