On Thursday morning at 9:32 AM, KVFD was dispatched for an alarm at a residence in West Sadsbury Township. The caller reported that the CO alarms were going off and she was feeling ill.

Amb 8-2, Ladder 8 and Engine 8 responded. Upon arrival, firefighters donned SCBA, entered and metered the home. Nothing was found to be at or near the alarm level. The property management company's maintenance and heater technician responded to check hot water heater and furnace. Everything seemed to be functioning properly.

The resident was transported to Brandywine Hospital by Amb 8-2 for further evaluation and treatment if necessary.

All units were clear by 11:00 AM.
