Early Friday morning, KVFD assisted at the Barclay Friend's five-alarm fire by staffing Engine 8 with a crew at West Whiteland's Station 6, and with Ambulance 8-1 responding to the scene and assisting.

Last night, Ladder 8 with a crew of 5 returned to the fire scene to assist by working hot spots with Rescue 61 (Kimberton).
