Serious Crash in West Sadsbury

This evening shortly after 9:00PM, KVFD with a paramedic from Medic 93, was dispatched to a serious motor vehicle accident on Rt.#30 in front of Owen’s Place. The caller reported that it involved two vehicles and the driver of one was reportedly unresponsive and entrapped.

A trooper soon arrived and reported that there was no apparent entrapment. But the driver was in serious condition.

Amb 8-2, Chief 8, Tac 8, Ladder 8, multiple fire police units and two paramedics from Brandywine Hospital responded.

The unresponsive driver was taken to the LGH Trauma Center by Amb 8-2 with a BH paramedic onboard while the other driver was taken by the Christiana Community ambulance.

Fire police directed traffic while firefighters assisted with hazard control.

The investigation is being conducted by troopers.
