At 12:55 PM, KVFD responded to a crash on Rt.#30, W. Lincoln Highway between Swan Road and County Line Road. The caller reported that multiple vehicles were involved and at least one person sustained a head injury. Chief Cazillo, Deputy Chief Schreiber, Rescue 8, Tac 8, Amb 8-2, and multiple fire police units responded.

Christiana Community ambulance was also dispatched to assist due to multiple victims. Upon Deputy Chief Schreiber's arrival, he reported that four vehicles were involved and directed fire police to shut down the highway between Swan Road and County Line Road.

Chief Cazillo arrived and assumed Lincoln Highway Command. Rescue 8 was assigned to a blocking position for responder safety and firefighters assisted in hazard control and clean-up.

Of those involved, two persons were transported to hospitals while a third refused medical care.

West Sadsbury Township police are investigating. The highway was closed for about an hour.
