On Monday night at 8:50 PM, KVFD was dispatched to a report of an electrical fire inside the GameStop in West Sadsbury Commons. The caller advised Chester County 9-1-1 that it smelled like something electrical was burning and there was smoke coming from the ceiling.

Upon Chief Cazillo's arrival a few minutes later, he reported that smoke was showing outside the store and requested that the call be upgraded to a building fire, thereby bring additional resources. Chief Cazillo assumed "Common's Command."

Multiple companies responded and assisted.

At 9:12 PM, Chief Cazillo advised that the fire was under control and firefighters were in-service with ventilation. Firefighters found electrical issues inside and shut down the power until it could be inspected while PECO pulled the meter.

It is unknown if this was related to a brief power outage that the area experienced a few minutes before.

Chief Cazillo terminated command at 9:36 PM. All units were clear and returning to their stations.
