Today, Pastor Jim Lantz of the Parkesburg Word of Faith Church announced that they would again be sponsoring a community breakfast at the Parkesburg Point, 700 Main Street, Parkesburg, PA 19365, on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM.

All proceeds are donated to KVFD. Pastor Jim Lantz said in an email, "our records show that we sent $853.05 to KVFD for breakfast donations received in 2018. Everything that came into the donation bucket was forwarded to the fire department, and there were a couple of times that we added a little from PWOF Church."

These numbers are up quite a bit from previous years, and this Saturday is the first breakfast in 2019.

Fire Chief Robby Cazillo said, "We greatly appreciate the help and support of the Word of Faith Church over the last many years. Pastor Jim Lantz, his wife Carol, and members of the church have been supporters of KVFD since the beginning. Thanks to them, The Point for hosting the event, and all those from the community who attend the breakfasts."
