Fire Incident at Wawa Food Market in West Sadsbury Twp.

KVFD units along with Lancaster County 52 (Christiana), 42 (Gap) & Honey Brook (33) for the RIT were dispatched to in the early morning hours to Wawa Food Market for a report of smoke in the building. Employees were observing a smoke condition inside the store from an unknown source.

KVFD units arrived on-scene along with Lancaster County units to investigate the smoke condition inside the Wawa Store.

Upon investigation personnel found a faulty air handler on the roof which was the cause of the smoke condition.

Units isolated the air handler and ventilated the store.

PA Department of Health was notified by CCFR. The incident was cleared around 0100 hours.
