On Monday KVFD along with numerous mutual aide companies completed Vehicle Orientation/Rescue Training presented by Representatives from TESLA of Devon. Crews were given a Powerpoint presentation as well as shown numerous videos on Extrication techniques for these unique Electric Vehicles. Once the classroom portion was completed crews had the opportunity to have some hands on looks at these unique vehicles. Ryan, Matt, and Kevin from TESLA of Devon brought with them 3 of their models and went of over the differences between them and allowed those participating to get first hand experience with where important safety features of their automobiles are located.

We thank Ryan, Matt and Kevin for taking time to come down and help orient our responder's to these unique challenges that are appearing more frequently on the roads today. This was a great training and allowed numerous questions to be answered.
