Early this morning, at 2:43 AM, KVFD was dispatched to stand-by at Station #23, Avondale as they were fighting a restaurant fire in Unionville.

During that stand-by, at 5:51 AM, Rescue 8 and Lanco Tanker 45, were dispatched to a two-vehicle auto accident at State Street and Route 41 in Avondale Borough.

Firefighters responded and found that there were no injuries and conducted hazard and traffic control returning to Station 23 at 05:15 hours.

Rescue 8 was cleared from the stand-by at 7:00 PM
