Ropes and Riggings Training

On Monday, May 12th during company training all members practiced and with ropes and riggings. Everyone started by reviewing the different styles of knots, how to tie the knots and what they are used for. We also reviewed the different styles of rescue harness and the uses of the each of them. The members got to try the harnesses on and see how it feels to be wearing one. Once everyone got to tie their knots and try the harnesses out we set up pulley systems. We rigged up a pulley system for raising and lowering. The members learned about a lot of different knots and riggings.
