On Friday, May 16th, 2008 the Sadsburyville Fire Company, Pomeroy Fire and Ambulance, and Parkesburg Rescue were dispatched at 1117 to the intersection of Route 10 and Route 30 in Sadsbury Township for a vehicle accident with unknown injuries.
Communications Officer Hume arrived on the scene and updated the location to Route 30 and Commons Drive in West Sadsbury Township. With the change in location came a change in jurisdictional response for emergency services, and the Atglen Fire Company was dispatched to assist.
Sadsburyville Engine 31-2 arrived on the scene and their crews began to check on the occupants involved to investigate injuries. One patient was offering complaints of neck and head pain. Ambulance 28 arrived on the scene and EMS personnel began to treat the victim.
Personnel and apparatus from the Parkesburg, Sadsburyville, Pomeroy, and Atglen Fire Companies assisted EMS crews, swept the roadway, and provided traffic control.
Once the cars were removed from the roadway, all units cleared the scene at 1154. No patients were transported to the hospital.
