On the morning of May 29, 2008 Chief Doug McGuigan of the Pomeroy FireCompany was laid to rest. Firefighters from all over the county gathered to say their final goodbyes to a Leader, Brother and Friend. Doug joined the fire service over forty years ago, and has been an asset ever since. The Parkesburg Fire Company will truly miss working hand in hand with him.
