On Thursday, August 27th, the American Red Cross will be partnering with the Parkesburg Office of Emergency Management and KVFD on a community outreach in the area surrounding the 300 block of W. Main Street in Parkesburg. The American Red Cross typically follows fatal fires with an effort to educate and inform neighbors and nearby residents. They will be in the area at 1 PM with preparedness materials, information about Red Paw Pet safety and new batteries for smoke detectors.
