This afternoon at 2:46 PM, KVFD assisted the Cochranville Fire Company with a field fire on Limestone Road at Friendship Church Road at the Cochranville Grain Company.

On-scene Engine 27-1 made the initial hit on the field fire which was started by a uncontrolled burn. Tanker 27 assisted on scene with the water.

Brush 8 was in-service driving throughout the field extinguishing hot spots. Tac 8 arrived on-scene and assisted with Manpower.

Upon clearing the field fire Station # 8 was dispatched with Station#27 of a house fire in the Borough of Parkesburg
