| At 3:19 PM, KVFD with the Sadsburyville Fire Company, Westwood Fire Company for an additional ambulance, and paramedics from Brandywine Hospital were dispatched to an accident with a vehicle reportedly overturned in the road on Rt. #10, south of Octorara Road. Ambulance 8-1 was the first to arrive and confirmed the above report. Deputy 31 arrived and assumed "Rt.#10 Command."
Rescue 8 and Engine 31-1 followed. The vehicle was stabilized and extrication was completed. The patient was transported to Brandywine Hospital by Amb 8-1. The paramedic was cancelled,
Firefighters assisted with traffic and hazard controls, and were clear by 3:40 PM. |
