Early Morning Crash in West Sadsbury

On Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at 6:26 AM, KVFD was dispatched to an automobile accident reported to be one vehicle off the road into a corn field on Swan Road north of Strasburg Road in West Sadsbury Township, Chester County.

The caller reported that there was one person still in the vehicle and the vehicle had rolled over. It was now upright and there was no entrapment.

Amb 8-1, Deputy 8, Rescue 8, Tac 8, Traffic 8, and Fire Police 8, responded. The victim was assisted out of the vehicle and transported to Paoli Hospital by Amb 8-1. Firefighters and fire police assisted with traffic control and hazards.

All units were clear at 6:52 AM.

The vehicle slid on black ice, leaving the roadway and rolling over 1-2 times before landing back on its wheels in the field.
