Motorcycle Crash Injures One

On Thursday evening, the Sadsburyville Fire Company with KVFD was dispatched for a motorcycle accident on Rt.#30 at Rt.#10 in West Sadsbury Township.

Callers reported that the cyclist rolled after striking the car.

Ambulance 8-1 with a paramedic from Brandywine Hospital were initially dispatched with SFC. The location was soon corrected to Rt.#30 at Commons Drive and Rescue 8 was added to the dispatch with fire police and Chief Gathercole also responding.

Chief Grossman of the SFC arrived and found one to be checked. The fire response was reduced and upon arrival firefighters assisted with hazards and scene clean-up, while the motorcyclist was treated and transported to LGH under ALS care.

The accident is under investigation by the PA State Police.
