At 0704 hours this morning KVFD was dispatched for a motor vehicle accident in the area of W. First Ave and West Street in Parkesburg Borough. Ambulance 8 arrived on-scene within seconds of dispatch reported a two vehicle accident with one subject to be checked along with fluids and debris on the ground.

Tac 8 made the response along with Rescue 8. Since the accident was in close proximity to the Main Station, Rescue 8 personnel walked down to the scene so apparatus would not block the roadway. Tac 8 arrived on-scene and the fluids and debris were cleaned up by emergency personnel.

Personnel assisted with traffic control on-scene along with the assistance from Off-Duty Police Chief Ely assisting as he was headed into work. (Thanks for stopping Chief).

Ambulance 8-1 transported one operator to Lancaster General Hospital.

The incident was turned over to Parkesburg Police for the investigation.
