Last week, two KVFD Junior firefighters, Micheal Lavender, and Rian Holmes, joined other teens from across the County to participate in the renamed Junior Public Safety Camp Week. In year's past, this event was more focused on firefighting, but the County decided to include some other disciplines recognizing that there was great interest and that in a major incident dispatch, police, fire, EMS, emergency management must all work together.

Thanks again to the Brandywine Health Foundation for sponsoring the camp and the awesome cadre of instructors from DES and other County responders for the content.
