Last night at 6:45 PM, KVFD, along with Ambulances* 41 and 37 and Medic 93 were dispatched to the area of 30 E First Ave in Parkesburg for a motor vehicle accident reported to be serious and then upgraded to entrapment. Crews were advised of a vehicle into a pole with a sole occupant trapped and semi-conscious. Parkesburg PD arrived first and reported negative entrapment and the operator conscious and alert. Rescue 8 arrived and took command and secured the vehicle while EMS packaged the patient and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
