Main Street House Fire

At 8:25 PM, KVFD, Sadsburyville and Cochranville firefighter dispatched to a reported house fire at Parkesburg Antiques, 311 Main Street, Parkesburg. The caller reported that there were flames visible in a window at an apartment.

Upon arrival, Chief Brian Gathercole assumed "Main Street Command." He confirmed that the fire was out but there was a smoke condition present. The fire involved the stove and surrounding area. Firefighters went in service with ventilation and used a water can to ensure that those areas involved in the fire were extinguished.

EMTs evaluated two persons for smoke inhalation. Both refused medical attention and signed off.

Parkesburg PD assisted.

All units were clear by 10:00 PM.
