At last night's Parkesburg Borough Council meeting, Mr. Jack Assetto, Chair-person of the Parkesburg Special Events Committee disbursed funds raised from this year's community day. Fund were disbursed to organizations that helped with the Parkesburg Community Day as well as other non-profit organizations within the Borough.

The following each received a check for $1,000:

Parkesburg Church's Community Outreach
Octorara Area Food Cupboard
Parkesburg Point
Parkesburg Free Library
VFW Post 4480 Veterans Memorial
Keystone Valley Fire Department
