As per our Bylaws, the newly elected Officers took command and assumed their positions last night.

The department’s Fire Chief is now Robby Cazillo. Robby joined the fire service in 2003 and quickly started into the EMS field by obtaining his EMT later that year. He began his career as a volunteer in emergency services at Parkesburg Fire Company starting as a junior firefighter, progressing to a senior firefighter and from there he worked up through the ranks of EMS Lieutenant, EMS Captain and Deputy Fire Chief.

Like many volunteers in KVFD, Rob also serves as a paid career Firefighter/EMT. He started working as a Career EMT for Washington Hose Company in 2008, and now works full-time as a Career Fire Fighter/EMT for the West Grove Fire Company since 2013.

Since our consolidation, Chief Cazillo served as our first Assistant Fire Chief, under Chief Stackhouse, and Deputy Fire Chief under Chief Gathercole.

Chief Cazillo credits his wife, Caiti, for supporting him in his career as a Firefighter/EMT, and being there for him as he works long hours serving the community. He and Caiti have two daughters: Addison, age 4, and a step-daughter, Kylie, age 7. They reside in Atglen Borough.

Chief Cazillo said,”I joined as a junior with my friends and once I got into it I realized how much I loved helping others in their time of need. A strong group of members made the consolidation possible and KVFD continues to grow every day, providing a high level of care to the communities we serve.”
