This afternoon at 3:26 PM, KVFD was dispatched to a chimney fire in the 600 block of Zion Hill Road in West Sadsbury Township, Chester County. Chief 8, Amb 8-2, Ladder 8 and Tanker 8 responded and found an active chimney fire. Crews went into service with chains to clear the blockage and checked for any extension into areas adjacent to the chimney. There was none. All units were clear by 4:10 PM.
