Shed Fire in West Sadsbury Township

On today’s date at 1021 hours KVFD along with Lancaster County Gap (42), & Christiana (52) and Chester County Honey Brook (33) for RIT were dispatched for an outbuilding in the area of the 6100 block of Limeville Road.

Supplemental information from CCFR advised of a shed containing lawn mowers inside and propane near-by was fully involved at 6139 Limeville Road.

Deputy Chief Schreiber, Engine 8-2, Tanker 8, & Ladder 8 made the responses. Deputy Schreiber arrived on-scene and confirmed the report holding the response to what was enroute. Engine 8-1 also made the response.

The incident was held to KVFD units and the Gap and Christiana units responding. Honey Brook units Rescue 33 & Engine 33-5 were redirected to cover the stand-by at the Central Station, covering the KVFD District.

Engine 8-2 was the first arriving suppression unit which pulled into the driveway with the Tanker 8 supplying it with water.

The shed was extinguished by fire personnel on-scene and the damage was held to the shed and its contents.

All units cleared the scene shortly after returning to service. Thanks to the assisting units on this incident.
