At 4:22 PM, KVFD, and Brandywine Hospital paramedics, were dispatched to the 500 block of W. First Avenue in Parkesburg for a serious crash, child struck by a vehicle.

Amb 8-1 and Assistant 8 arrived and decided that the patient was critical and needed to be flown for immediate care by a trauma team.

JeffSTAT 3 was dispatched and firefighters set up a LZ in Minch Park while fire police assisted with traffic control.

The 500 block of W. First Avenue was closed and an investigation is being conducted by the Parkesburg Borough Police.

The four-year-old male patient was flown to AI Dupont hospital by JeffSTAT.
