At 4:45 PM, KVFD was dispatched to a reported crash, one vehicle into a telephone pole with an unconscious occupant. Deputy 8, Amb 8-1, Rescue 8, and fire police units responded along with a paramedic from Brandywine Hospital. Another Brandywine Hospital paramedic, Mr. Leo Scaccia who had been traveling in the area, also assisted.

The occupant was transported to Paoli Hospital by Amb 8-1. Firefighters assisted with hazards while fire police directed traffic.

The accident is under the investigation by West Sadsbury Township police. PECO was notified re: the damaged pole.

The road was re-opened at 5:23 PM
