Tonight at 6:14 PM, KVFD with an ambulance from Christiana, were dispatched to a crash reportedly on Zook Road at Gap-Newport Pike (Rt. #41) in West Sadsbury Township, Chester County. Our ambulance was on another call.

The caller reported that a vehicle was into a guardrail and there were unknown injuries.Chief 8 arrived and was unable to locate the accident. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle went over the guardrail and landed in the driveway of 689 Zook Road.Chief 8, Ladder 8 and Tac 8 arrived to assist. Both Ladder 8 and Tac 8 are equipped with full rescue tools but no services were necessary.

The driver was transported to LGH by Lanco Amb 46-2 while KVFD assisted in hazard control.

The incident is being investigated by the PA State Police.
