On Sunday, February 24, 2019, at 8:22 PM, KVFD was dispatched to an accident on Rt. #10, Limestone Road between Old Race Track Road and Boro Line Road in Highland Township. Amb 8-1 arrived and reported that there were three vehicles involved with one person entrapped.

The roadway was shut down by fire police between Old Racetrack Road and Boro Line Road.Command was initially assumed by Assistant Chief Klingler and then by Deputy Chief Schreiber.

Firefighters went into service for a "door-pop," scene lighting and hazards. Limestone Command reported that extrication was complete at 8:37 PM. One person was transported to a hospital by ambulance (BLS). The other two drivers refused medical care.

Fire police assisted the PA State Police with the road closure while firefighters assisted with hazards.

Nulls Towing removed two of the vehicles.
