Today, Ladder 8 was requested to assist the Borough with the installation of solar-powered LED lights on top of the flag pole at Minch Park

Thomas Mellema, a local Boy Scout, recently completed his Eagle Scout Project at Minch Park. A flag pole was installed in the park near the gazebo and the solar-powered lights were mounted on the flag pole.

To highlight this project, there will be a dedication ceremony on Saturday, February 8th at 1:00 PM. The VFW and Borough will have representatives present to help honor Thomas for a job well done.

Borough officials invite all to come out and join in the celebration!
