Annual Grant Program

FCEMSGP makes an annual grant program available for volunteer and career fire companies, emergency medical services and rescue squads. This year KVFD was able to be funded for over $87K.

The Board of Directors thanks Parkesburg Borough, West Sadsbury Township, Highland Township & Sadsbury Township for their support and most of all, the members of our communities for their on-going support.

As part of this program, the Keystone Valley Fire Department was awarded a significant amount through the grant process from the Consolidation of our organization into KVFD.

As you know the Keystone Valley Fire Department completed the Central Fire Station renovation in Parkesburg. This grant award will go a long way in assisting us with reducing the debt accrued during the renovation process.

KVFD would like to thank Member Jared Dalmas for writing and submitting the grant on behalf of the Keystone Valley Fire Department. This can be a very time-consuming process and Jared has been doing it for years. Jared is a past Board member and continues to be a member today.

We would also like to thank the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for continuing this program and the Pennsylvania State Fire Commissioners Office for acting as the administrative agent for this program. Without this program, many Fire/EMS agencies statewide would not otherwise be able to afford mission-critical equipment that is used frequently within their communities.

AMOUNT FUNDED

Keystone Valley Fire Department $60,248.03
Keystone Valley Fire Department $27,572.44 EMS
