April 3, 2021
Keystone Valley Fire Department along with Sadsburyville Westwood, Wagontown, Modena, and Coatesville Fire Department’s trained at the Chester County Public Safety Training Campus for the annual “Day in the Life” training for the Western Chester County Fire Companies today.
The training day was set up by the Western Chester County Fire Chiefs to allow the fire companies to work with their mutual-aid partners by practicing & responding to incidents through joint training and to strengthen working relationships with scenarios in which we could encounter in the real world.
Personnel from each station were assigned tasks and reviewed the new standing orders for Western Chester County responses. This training was an opportunity for members to train in a safe environment and to conduct practices that would be applied on a live incident.
Thanks to the participants in this training, the organizations that were able to attend and the fire instructors who assisted with the live training.
