On Saturday at 4:47 PM, KVFD and surrounding resources were dispatched to an accident reported to be with entrapment on Strasburg Road between Swan Road and Blackhorse Road in West Sadsbury Township.

Witnesses reported a vehicle into a bridge with entrapment and multiple occupants injured.

Chief 8 arrived and assumed command. The extrication was completed prior to arrival of firefighters. With several patients EMS units on-scene arrived and treated patients with transports to near-by hospitals. Fire police also responded and assisted police with traffic control as the road was shut down for investigation.

Fire Police cleared the incident around 8:25 PM last evening.

The accident is under investigation by West Sadsbury Township Police and Parkesburg Police assisted.
