From June 22nd through June 25th members of the Keystone Valley Fire Department attended a National Child Passenger Safety Certification Training Program at the Chester County Public Safety Building in South Coatesville.

The members spent part of their day in classroom lectures and the remainder out in the garage practicing what they had learned. The class finished up Friday June 25th with a actual inspections and installation of car seats for families who had made appointments. 2 members of KVFD also represented their full time employers of Birmingham Township Police and Union Fire Company of Oxford.

KVFD hopes to work with Parkesburg Borough, Parkesburg businesses and the Parkesburg Police Department later this year in conducting a Child Passenger Safety event, stay tuned for more information.
