KVFD assisted with the 16th Annual Cpl. Brandon M. Hardy Memorial Scholarship Motorcycle Ride today Saturday July 17th.

Ladder 8 assisted with the Static Display of the Flag at Routes 10 & 372.

KVFD Fire Police assisted throughout the area deployed at intersections assisting with the motorcycle ride.

This is a combined annual event that involves many local agencies and organizations.

6th Annual Cpl. Brandon Hardy Memorial Ride on Saturday, July 17, 2021.

Ladder 8 has been requested for the Flag Detail at Route 10 & 372 on Saturday July 17th at 10:00 hours

Fire Police have also been requested to assist with Traffic Control at points within the District including 10 &30, 10 & 372 and 10 & Highland

The Ride:
Registration from 7:30-8:45 a.m. at Gap Community Center, 835 Houston Run Drive, Gap, Pa. Ride leaves promptly at 9:00 a.m. Cost of the ride is $25 per person and is held rain or shine. All proceeds go to the Cpl. Brandon Hardy Memorial Scholarship Fund.

The Cpl. Brandon Hardy Memorial Scholarship was established to help newly enlisted military personnel with purchasing military necessities that are not issued by their military branch and/or travel home to see their families. To date $126,000 has been given in support of our military personnel. Over $121,000 of those funds are a result of the Cpl. Brandon Hardy Motorcycle Ride each July.
