Christopher M. Rice, 63, of Parkesburg, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021, in West Chester. He was the husband of Jill Hall Rice. Born in Coatesville he was the son of the late Thomas F. and Ann N. Kolodski Rice.

Chris was a 1976 graduate of Octorara and worked at Youngs Windows in Oaks, PA.

He was an avid helicopter pilot and a member of the former Parkesburg Fire Company.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a stepdaughter, Stephanie R., wife of Jeff McCoy of New Holland, a special aunt, Jean Kolodski, and his best furry friend, Sheldon. He was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy M. Rice.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, August 27th, 2021 at 11 AM at the Parkesburg Methodist Church, 411 Main St, Parkesburg, PA 19365, with a visitation at the Church from 10 until 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Keystone Valley Fire Department Ambulance, 329 W. 1st Ave., Parkesburg, PA 19365.
