KVFD was dispatched to assist Modena & Westwood Fire Companies in East Fallowfield Township for a house fire at 0029 hours in the 700 block of Baron Crest Way. The incident was upgraded to a working fire with the tanker task force being requested due to the lack of hydrants.

KVFD units Engine & Ladder 8 made the response along with Tanker 8, Rescue 8 and Squad 8 on the assist.

Engine 8 arrived and was assigned orders of the 2nd Due Engine and laid 5" from Buck Run Road into the fire scene. Engine 8 was able to complete the lay and allowed Engine 43 to supply the fire scene. Ladder 8 arrived on-scene and assisted Ladder 41 with roof operations.

Crews from Engine 8 assisted with interior crews as Ladder 8 crews assisted on the roof with ladder operations.
