On Sunday evening, September 25, 2022, at 7:58 PM, KVFD and assisting mutual aid units specifically fire police and EMS were dispatched to an accident reported to be serious in front of the Crystal Springs apartments.

Upon arrival, firefighters secured the scene from hazards while EMTs and paramedics cared for the patients. Fire police assisted the Parkesburg police with traffic control and parts of Rt. #10 were shut down.
