By Fire Chief Brian Gathercole | |
December 31, 2022 | |
KVFD is very appreciative for the volunteer responders who respond to incidents 365 days a year / 24 hours a day. The volunteers respond to calls, however, also contribute many hours of training and time to special events. Each of these volunteer responders achieved higher than 20 percent of all calls in the last year, which is an impressive response, said Chief Gathercole. The call volume for fire related incidents was over 300 plus calls for 2022 and these responders put forth great dedication to the community. Every KVFD responder is a great asset who shows commitment demonstrated by KVFD volunteers. KVFD appreciates any and all time volunteers are able to contribute to the Communities in which we serve. The 2022 Top Responders are as follows: Richard Klingler - 188 Calls which is 54 % Fire Police Officers: Junior Firefighters: Special Note: Thank you to Greg Pilotti Furniture Makers at 4069 Lower Valley Road Parkesburg, Pa who allows his employees to respond to emergencies on a daily basis for KVFD. The Owner/Operator Greg Pilotti himself who is a Lieutenant for East Brandywine Fire Company Station # 49 also responds and supports KVFD as a responder himself. This is a great asset to the District and Community. Top 10 EMS responders: |
