Business 30 Accident causes traffic problems throughout the entire Monday January 23rd

The Keystone Valley Fire Department was dispatched for an accident reported with wires down at Route 30 & Blackhorse Road in West Sadsbury Township on Monday January 23rd at 0445 hours in the Morning.

Assistant Chief Marks arrived with Tac 8 to find multiple wires down including the pole. The accident was changed to a pole and wires related incident and no injuries were noted from the accident.

KVFD along with fire police from several agencies were dispatched for traffic control on Business 30.

Business Route 30 was closed between Route 10 and 30 and Route 41 and 30 for the remainder of Monday. Traffic was being detoured around the area causing problems in Chester and Lancaster Counties.

West Sadsbury Township Roadcrew assisted with signs and barricades along with fire police.

Fire Police personnel from two counties spent the majority of the morning and early afternoon on Route 30 assisting the local and state police with traffic control. Thank you to the responders for your volunteerism and long day directing traffic and assisting the public.
