Parkesburg Borough Mayor Hagan recognized several members of KVFD on Tuesday January 17th, 2023, during the regular Borough Council Meeting. To continue from that on Tuesday February 21st, 2023, recognition was given to George Budzik on his many years of service to the Borough.

George Budzik - Lifelong Parkesburg Resident - Joined Parkesburg Fire Company in 1973 / George has also served the community for over 50 years. George is very active within KVFD and known as the "First Acting Man" of the Cadre of personnel at KVFD. George continues to mentor the younger generation of firefighters coming into the Community and within KVFD.

The following members were chosen to be recognized by someone outside of KVFD for all their contributions to Western Chester County.

Gary Myers -- Joined Parkesburg Fire Company in 1983 / Gary has served the community for the past 50 years.

Carl "Tim" Reynolds - Lifelong Parkesburg Residence - Joined Parkesburg Fire Company in 1977

Stephanie Klingler - Lifelong Parkesburg Residence - Joined Parkesburg Fire Company in 1987
