KVFD was dispatched to Atglen Recycling at 551 Zion Hill Road in West Sadsbury Township for a reported building fire. Supplemental advised caller stating the building is fully involved and spreading.

Christiana Assistant 52 arrived on-scene and advised he was on-site and attempting to locate the fire. The fire was found to the rear of the property and appeared to be a dumpster with extension into the woods.

The incident was scaled back recalling everything except Station 52 & 8.

Engine 52-1 dropped a line and also stretched handlines into the scrap yard. Ladder 8 arrived on-scene and went into service with master streams being supplied by Tanker 52 and Tanker 8.
