On May 10th, 2023, The Keystone Valley Fire Department was dispatched by the Chester County 911 Center to assist the Christiana Fire Company in the area of Route 41 and Newport Road in Sadsbury Township Lancaster County as the second due BLS on an auto accident.

Ambulance 8-1 responded to the scene and was advised by the Lancaster County 911 Center of a 2 vehicle accident with multiple patients. Ambulance 8-1 arrived to find the Christiana Fire Company extinguishing a fire in an engine compartment of 1 vehicle. The Christiana EMS crew directed Ambulance 8's crew to a 2nd patient as their crew was busy providing care to another patient. Luckily their were minor injuries in both vehicles and Ambulance 8 was able to clear the scene quickly.

Lancaster Ambulance 46 transported a patient to an area hospital for their injuries sustained from the accident.
