On May 10th, 2023, The Keystone Fire Department was dispatched to Westminster Place at Parkesburg for an elevator rescue. Ladder 8, Engine 8, Ambulance 8-1 all made the response and were advised by the Chester County 911 center of 2 subjects trapped in an elevator between floors and were in no distress.

Keystone Valley Fire Department units arrived and were met by residents of the building who advised that they were able to talk to the trapped subjects. Keystone Valley personnel worked with building maintenance to open the doors of the elevator. Eventually personnel were able to free the trapped subjects who were directed to Keystone Valley EMS personnel.

All Keystone Valley Fire Department units cleared the scene and turned the property back over to the building maintenance.
