On Easter day last year, our town faced a tragedy that touched every heart and many outside the area as well.

Smoke filled the streets as a fire displaced 22 of our neighbors and some family. Amidst that incident KVFD relied on the help of 140 firefighters from around the tri-county area. The help arrived however, the devastation occurred despite all acts of bravery.

Businesses such as Spring House Spirits opened its doors, not just as a business, but as a sanctuary for relief efforts and a haven for our brave first responders. Parkesburg Borough helped as a meeting place and location for everyone to gather. Organizations and community members started with donations.

This Easter’, as we commemorate that day of unity and courage, we that you our Communities in which we serve not in memory of tragedy, but in celebration of the indomitable spirit of our community.

Keystone Valley Fire Department extends to your family the warmest wishes for a truly blessed Easter. Let's continue to nurture the spirit of togetherness and what defines our community.
