On May 30th, 2024, Keystone Valley Fire Department, Sadsburyville Fire Company and Westwood Paramedics were dispatched to the area of W. Lincoln Highway and Commons Drive in West Sadsbury Township for an auto accident.

Keystone Valley Fire Department along with mutual aid units made the response and were advised of a 3 vehicle accident at the intersection. Deputy 31 (Grossman) was the first arriving to confirm the report and also added a medic for one patient with a head injury. Deputy 31 held the command for this incident closely working with Captain 8 (Jones). Ambulance 8-1 and Ambulance 8-2 arrived and were given their respective patients. Rescue 8 and Engine 31 arrived and their crews were assigned to control hazards on the vehicles along with sweeping debris from the roadway.

Ambulance 8-1 and Ambulance 8-2 evaluated 4 patients and Ambulance 8-1 transported 1 patient to an area hospital for a further evaluation. Engine 31 and Deputy 31 were released from the scene by Captain 8 who assumed the command. Rescue 8 remained on the scene to assist the West Sadsbury Township Police Department with their investigation and to await the arrival of Null's Towing.

The Keystone Valley Fire Department officers have used a collaborative approach this year by adding mutual aid from the Sadsburyville Fire Company onto our calls for the area of Route 10 and Route 30 to better enhance services to visitors and residents of our district.

The final Keystone Valley Fire Department unit cleared the call at 19:26.
