Last night, volunteers from several stations including KVFD traveled to South Brandywine Middle School for weekly training. This was a unique opportunity for us to train inside of a large building with many challenges and also to practice deployment of hose lines.

The focus on this week's training was hose line scenarios that focused on longer deployments down longer halls and areas that take time to reach due to proximity.

At SBMS several stations were training including Sadsburyville, Westwood and Lancaster Station 52 all with different tasks and assignments.

The night ended with Sadsburyville leaving due to an accident in their coverage area.

We also wanted to take a moment to Thank the Westwood Fire Company and Deputy Chief Randy Scott for inviting us to use the facility. We truly appreciate Deputy Scott organizing the use of SBMS.

Several more joint trainings are to occur this week as Stations have use of the facility.
