On October 10th, 2024, The Keystone Valley Fire Department was dispatched to the 5000 block of Meadeville Road in Salisbury Township for a reported barn fire. Tanker 8 made the response and was advised by the Chester County and Lancaster County 911 Centers that numerous callers reported a well involved barn was on fire. Tanker 8 is an essential piece of fire equipment as it carries 3,200 gallons of water to a fire scene and most fire company's rural districts have little to no water sources to adequately extinguish a fire. Tanker 8 arrived and was given their incoming orders from the White Horse Fire Company command. Tanker 8 was released from the scene by the Command at 4:39 am. *Thank You to the White Horse Fire Company for the use of the pictures* |
